先日Paulに役を譲ったなんて言っていたけど、実は悔しかったのかなぁなんて深読みしたくなった。

Onetime Stargate Atlantis star McGillion also sent congratulations to British actor Pegg. “I’d like to thank you all for your tremendous support especially Chris Doohan who rallied behind me to fill his father’s footsteps,” McGillion wrote to TrekMovie.com. “I have not had the pleasure of ‘meeting’ Simon Pegg but I am familiar with his work and I think he’s a terrific talent. 何となくハリウッドトークなPaulの発言。
殆ど決まりって感じだったのに、今になって聞いた事もない名前(うわさにもなっていなかったのでは?)が出てきたのでビックリしました。
PeggはJJと仕事をした事がある(M.I.III)との事。やっぱり気心が知れているとかそういうのも決め手になったりするわけですね。
(もちろん、それがメインじゃないハズですが)
そういう中で仕事をもぎ取っていかなければならないハリウッドの皆さんって、本当に大変ですね。
同時にSulu役も発表されたのですけど、日本人じゃないのが不満なので取り上げません(爆)
いい加減、日本人(日系人)役をほかのアジア系の俳優がやるのはやめて欲しいんですけどねぇ。だって、少なくとも日本人じゃないって、ぱっと見でわかっちゃうじゃないですか。もうそれだけでしらけるのに、アヤシイ日本語を平気でしゃべらせたりするのがもう、ねぇ…。
